I entered a contest and they helped me transform my body down to a size 3/4 and 116 pounds.
Why I Love It:
I liked the way I looked and felt in April (2008). When I gained my weight back, I got sick, was very sleepy, hurt my hip - bursitis, allergic reaction to meds, etc. Now I am back on track and want to get back down to at least 125 or a size 3/4.

My husband and daughter.

Goal (Long):
Well, I hit 116 in April, '08 and looked awesome with a start of a 6pack. But, I quit clean eating and workedout very little, and WHAM- I am back up to 142!! Do my goal is to get down to at least 125 by November or a size 3/4. If I build muscle, then the scale will be off. Ya, well, missed both of those. NEW GOAL, be 125 by Jan, 2009. That is only a 2 pound loss per week. I can do it!!
Weight Goal:
I want to LOSE 20 lb

How long do you rest between sets on average? Why?
I don't. My trainer told me to keep my heart rate up and to quickly move from set to set or exercise to exercise. It gives you a cardio workout along with weights. Double the workout.

What do you do before your workout to get motivated and energized?
looking at all the fit bodies on here. That gets me motivated to look like them and I have a great workout. Also, listening to my iPod helps me stay focused and I have a better workout.

What are your secrets for making healthy food taste great?
Ok, all I have to say is "Clean Eating" by Tosca Reno. Love her cookbook.
Hopefully someone out there is a PT and can give me some insight. I need to do distance learning and found a few sites that are accredited. One is USIC and comes with the most information for $600. But then there is ISSA, which is about the same cost.
Right now I am doing body parts 3 times a week with cardio every day and HIIT when I am not lifting weights. I think I may go back to the circuit instead of body parts, but not sure yet.
