Keep it simple for chest, start with push ups, move onto bench press, and then do incline DB press. and finish off with flies. simple with effort = the best results.
umm for abs, situps are good enough. dont worry too much about that right now. for chest, i recommend not doing barbell bench press. in my opinion, a dumbell bench press is much better for strictly your chest. get a spotter, someone who knows what theyre doing to help you develop proper form. form is key. for variations you get do the bench flat, incline, or decline.
¿Cómo te va a ti?
Hey man! I'm doing great.
Sure thing :D for triceps I normally do dips, and cable (v-bar) pushdown. Some days I may do less sets then throw in the skullcrushers.
Good luck!
hey arbetrius, thanks for the friend add and the kind words! i would suggest starting a program such as p90x or rippetoes starting strength program. its best for beginners to give them a basis of strength and quick gains. sleep 9 hours a night and eat, eat, eat! cut out the snacks and candy start eating good whole foods.. carbohydrates: rice, potatos, noodles. proteins: red beef, fish, chicken. make sure to get your veggies in to ;) any other questions just ask! good luck!!
sure, the best advice i can give is eat TONS. Lots of meat. and try to drink about a gallon of milk a day, you will see the gains fast without having to buy fancy supplements. Dont focus on little muscle groups like biceps. do squats, pullups, dips, rows, and thats about all you need right now. work on getting the proper form of these excercises. don't work out more than 3x a week. dont do cardio.
You live in Calgary? same here!
Good luck getting big. Just look at how skinny I was just last year. It takes alot of eating. Let me know if you have any questions.
first of all you should be eating alot of food and trying to double your average intake of protein.
Here is a great workout i do for arms and abs.
ARMS
Bicep dumbell curls 10 reps 3 sets
Barbell preacher curls 10 reps 3 sets
Press ups - do 4 sets of 15
cable tricep extensions - 10 reps 3 sets
Skull crushers - 8 reps 3 sets
ABS
crunches - to failure
Plank -(1 - 2 min)
Side Plank -(1- 2 min)
