How I Started:
Last month I decided to turn my life around. After being absent from the gym for four years, I decided that it was time to stop wasting $70/month on gym fees and to start being more concerned with my health and nutrition. If I was not suffering from insomnia then I was sleeping 12-14 hours a night and never feeling rested or energetic about anything; not even life. Especially with all of the environmental toxins we are exposed to, proper "diet", nutrition, and exercise are essential to optimal health.
Why I Love It:
Like many others, it is a feeling of accomplishment just to get my a%^ out of bed and into the gym. However, two additional reasons why I love working out are the "high" I get from an intense workout as well as the gains I start to see in as little as 2 weeks.
How I Stay Motivated:
It has only been two weeks but thus far I am staying motivated by the results. Other motivations for me are the pics of those of you who have transformed your bodies as well as this supportive and synergistic environment.

Goal (Long):
I have ALWAYS had an apple (or was that a pear)bottom no matter now skinny I got. I would like to go down to 15% body fat, see what I look like, and modify my goals accordingly. I am not really concerned about weight as this is not a "diet" for me but a lifetime commitment. My concern is more focused on doing the right things for my body in terms of nutrition and exercise in order to decrease body fat and increase muscle mass.
