I want to be the best version of me possible
I've floated through my early twenties without giving much time or attention to my physical condition. I have had spurts where I was faithfully in the gym for 3 to 4 months at a time but something always comes up and I lose my commitment. I'll lose 10-15 lbs and put up some good weight but I always fall off. I've been as heavy as 215 lbs and as light as 170. Taco Bell and alcohol tend to take priority over lifting and cardio. I'm currently 25 and definitely not getting any younger. I've come to the realization that I'm wasting my physical prime. If ever there is a time to whip my body into shape, the time is now. I want to be the best version of me possible. I'm tired of settling for the "soft" look that I have been maintaning. I want to look good for my wife. I want my family to see me as a pinnacle of health and fitness. Most importantly I want to look and feel good for myself. I can be better than I have been. I will be better than I have been.
