This is my before pic for the 2007 Summer Classic Transformation Contest. At 268 lbs my weight goal is to lose 40 lbs while putting on some reasonable muscle weight.
Time to get back on track. So for the month of October 2008 I am setting a goal of getting down to 235 lbs, and doing 3000 situps. Just keep trying to get a little closer to my long term goal.
Goal (Long):
My long term goal is to completely transform my body to be comparable and even more fit than the condition I was in 13 years ago when I rode bike everyday and was a reasonably fit 198lbs. **************************************** ********
At one point 11 years ago I had ballooned up to over 300 lbs. As of today, Sept 2nd, 2008, I am down to 239 lbs.
My long term goal is to once again break the 200lb barrier while adding muscle mass.
At least a half hour a day on ex bike, eliptical or treadmill. Weekends tend to be on mountainbbike or playing wallyball.

What is your favorite cardiovascular exercise? Why?
Mountainbiking- Riding around in beautiful scenery, bouncing off rocks and tree roots is alot more interesting than sitting on a stationary bike watching "Deal Or No Deal".
Description: This is a video of my serving wallyball. For those of you who don't know wallyball is like volleyball but played on a raquetball court.

Why I like this video: I've always be amazed by Richard's discipline. For such a young kid to be so determined is an inspiration for any aspiring bodybuilder.

Why I like this video: Parkour- I'm torn between admiring the athleticism and just thinking it's plain crazy.
BTW, congrats on the goals you've posted for the month. I've just started on my bike too - I think it was your post that got me going again - and feeling very good doing it.
I am 14-16 miles round trip on fairly favorable roads. Work has showers etc. So it is not an if it is a will. I started last year but it was late in the summer and between the heat and my weight it was too much. Oh, very hilly here.
thanks for the nice words....I trust you too will be successful in attaining all the body goals you have set. They can and will be achived. Good Luck and thanks again, Gene
Things going pretty good the holidays are going great. Unfortunatly they left me out of the gym for 2 weeks but I'm back in full swing tomorrow. hope all is well your way.
