Bigg A TRAIN is going at it hard training and eating right! Im actually proud of myself!!..lol..eating clean and losing weight the RIGHT way, its not a sprint its a marathon and im going to finish strong for the rest of my life!!..Cant wait 4 my P90x and Insanity workout dvds to get...
i mixed up my weight training and P90X. I didnt use it all but i did partially use. I used ab ribber and core syn and would swap out my weights with legs and back one week then swap out my weights with tris and shoulders. i mixed it up and it worked good for me. hope this helps!
hi! i love P90X and it totally works. I havent tried insanity but if u look at bicemans (kevins) profile you will see that it obviously works. give it a shot! would love to have you BRING IT to the group! have a geat week.
Hi AntDogg,
I just HAD to drop a quick note when I read about your cookie problem! I feel you on that one, the problem is that I make cookies for my kids, and well..sometimes I snap like a crazy person and eat waaaaay too many of those things! Damn cookies! ~Missy
I think I could have gotten a lot more out of P90X with a chin up/pullup bar. I just don't have one and don't trust the door frame kind with someone as big as me. Congrats on the new baby!
At first I was lifting four days a week hitting each major muscle group once a week. I did cardio 5 days a week. Then I tried P90X for the last 45 days. It was fun and I learned good stuff to incorporate into my workouts, but I am not going to do the additional 45 days. During my time on P90x that is when I have had the least amount of weight loss. So I am going back to what I did before as of yesterday.
I figure that the second half of the weight will be harder to come off but I am still sticking to my 225 by 9-12-09 goal I set when I started. It's a little under 6lbs a month. I took off 30 the first month, 10 the second, and just gotta keep at it. I figure at 225 I should be around 15-17% BF. So I will see what that looks like and probably set some more goals.
As far as eating goes I am not on a diet with a name, I just make healthy choices. Getting the portion size under control is probably the biggest difference maker. Drinking lots of water around meal times helps me to not over eat. Other than that it's just conscious choice that I am not going to put garbage in my mouth. Although I do still have cheat meals occasionally
No secrets. I don't take any supplements. It's just diet and exercise. I am lifting 3 days a week, and I do cardio atleast thee times a week. I do HIIT to cut down the time spent doing cardio. I think cleaning up what I eat is the biggest part of it, then cardio, then lifting. The more weight I lose the more intensity I am going to bring to the lifting.
awesome man. I don't know about you but I feel so much better with this weight coming off. Struggling to get around all my fat to tie shoes is something I defintely don't miss........
I am definetely not worried....wrote a blog about it but in short their have been some really cool physical changes in this two weeks. I'm still pumped and ready to rock! hows it with you?
Well I wish you the best and hope for you to even beat me.......but I promise I won't make it easy :O) When are you planning on updating your pics? I am doing mine next week. I figured each month is probably enough.
I have had that protein and its good I feel like it gives me lots of energy. As far as the NO products I tried those on a previous weight loss attempt and I didn't really see a difference. I am no scientist but I think results would be more noticeable once the user has leaned out quite a bit more than what I had.
