Breakfast - turkey muffin, blueberries


Snack - 1/2 turkey muffin, edamame, apple


Lunch - chicken fajita, edamame & onions, apple


Snack - 1/2 turkey muffin, edamame


Dinner - all bran cereal with whey protein and soy milk

A look back at the past week on what worked and what didn't work in terms of nutrition and exercising. What worked well: having made the meatloaf muffins ahead of time logging my exercises having flavored water, flavored with Seattle Pike Market Spice tea, increased my water intake eating edamame for snack What did not work well: going to the gym didn't happen until Thursday eating cereal supplemented with protein did not satiate me - an hour later I was hungry. What to change: eat turkey muffin for breakfast plan out my gym times.

My mantra: Prepare, Prioritize and Push!


Visualization:  Visualize workouts that I will do as I drive to the gym.


Week's goals: visualize workout before entering the gym, weight training 4 times (Tu-Fri evenings), prepare lunch and snacks the night before (9 pm), every  morning first thing (7 am) do Qi Gong and Sun Salutation Yoga

seanboone I do evening workouts right after work usually, but sometimes go as late as 10pm which is very bad if you take pre-workout supps. I tried a workout right after I woke up but didn't like the difference in energy level... the rest of the day felt great of course but I am a night owl at heart. I have a gym in my garage so I don't have to follow commercial gym hours. Apr 2, 2012 5:39pm
