In January 2004 I'd the opportunity to join, at a reduced price, a gym for three months for the pre-season training of the inline hockey season.
After three months I renewed the subscription to the gym, but I could only attend it in the evening after work and in the weekends. The motivation wasn't always very high to go to gym after work and results weren't very encouraging.
In June 2006 I moved to a new office near the gym and I could go to it at noon. That was a great change! I began to have regularly 3-4 session a week and results was great: I was able to put on 10 kg of mass in a year and to transform my body. This change helped me a lot to improve in my main sport (inline hockey) too.
Why I Love It:
When I cross the entrance of the gym I put my I-Pod in the ears and the rest of the world don't exist. There's only my body, the music and the weights: life and work troubles disappear!
How I Stay Motivated:
I really don't need to stay motivated, lifting is just one of those things I love to do.
I appreciate compliments I get from other people too: it means they see my improvement and this motivate me more!
