My former squad leader is really into body building, and she wants to be a personal trainer. She inspires me.

WHY I LOVE IT:

I love the feeling I get while lifting. And I love the results I'm seeing in the mirror.

So I'm at the end of week 15! Tomorrow marks the start of week 14. I have done very well in all my food choices this week. I also got in every single one of the workout that I planned. I was very satisfied with the week. I lost 2 pounds and an inch from my waist, putting me at 25 inches! There isn't as much of a difference between last week's photo's and this weeks, but I'm retaining a bit more water weight for "girl" reasons. I expect next weeks photos to be awesome. So this is the end of week 16. I am counting down to the Atlanta NPC Coastal USA competition, which is scheduled for August 20th. As it is my first competion, I am taking extra time to prepare. I am very excited, and just hope I can feel satisfied with how everything turns out. I was in pretty good shape to start, so I know diet will be a huge factor for me, but don't think I will slack on my gym time!This first week has been pretty much ideal. End of Wk. 15, on to Wk. 14!

So I'm at the end of week 15! Tomorrow marks the start of week 14. I have done very well in all my food choices this week. I also got in every single one of the workout that I planned. I was very satisfied with the week. I lost 2 pounds and an inch from my waist, putting me at 25 inches! There isn't as much of a difference between last week's photo's and this weeks, but I'm retaining a bit more water weight for "girl" reasons. I expect next weeks photos to be awesome.

Getting Ready to Start Over

Well, I am getting ready to compete for the first time ever on August 20th, in the NPC Coastal USA in Atlanta, GA. I will be competing in the bikini division. On May 20th, I will be 12 weeks out, but I'm going to cut out dessert and alcohol after May 5th. Now I never consume alcohol and desserts in huge quantities in the first place, but after May 5th, it will be totally gone until after my competition.


Why May 5th you ask? Well I'm a bridesmaid in my best friend's wedding. I am flying all the way from Augusta to LA for this. We are also going to Las Vegas for her bachlorette
