For years I had a completely unhealthy body image. At 15 years old I had starved and over excerised myself down to 70 lbs and was threatened with hospitalization. I gained the weight back up to 100 lbs but the inner pain that I faced was not healed by becomeing the right weight for my height. I plan on finally winning the ongoing battle by focusing on being strong not slim. This is a very hard and challenging task but I know that with God's help I can live a better, healthier life.
I have been running for the past two years to try and reduce stress and stay lean. I used to just eat whatever and run to stay in shape. Now, I am looking to BUILD muscle while staying lean and fueling my body properly. I totally believe that the only way to do it right is to CONSISTANTLY work hard with no short cuts. You only get what you give!
Why I Love It:
I love to see my body improve in a healthy way. The working out also helps me stay focused and reduce stress. I also want to improve the body God gave me to the max!
How I Stay Motivated:
I think about being an example to all of those people out there who have struggles with body image. I am also not ashamed to admit my stuggle as I had been for the past 12 years.
I try to stay focused on where I am going and not think about the set backs.
BB Accomplishments:
I have been consistantly weight training so far this year. I am looking forward to increasing what I can do.

Thanks for your moral support. I had to laugh a little at what you posted for your height.... I noticed you had to add that extra .5" :D Ya know...now that I think about it...by old GF back in high school...Penny...she was all but 5' also!
Hey, just a quick “hello” and “thanks” for accepting my request, hope you and your training’s going well. Good luck continuing to progress and achieve all your ambitions and goals. :O)
