Background
I was tired of living an unhealthy and sedentary lifestyle. All I did was sit on my butt and ate whatever I wanted like pizza and chips everyday, all carbs and no protein. I had bad influences around me all the time which caused me to make poor choices in my life. I was a very unhealthy 23 year old girl with lots of body fat and all I cared about was partying on the weekend with my friends. I had a lot of problems and tried to fix them by drinking all the time. I was depressed and in a very bad place. One day I decided that I was sick of feeling like crap and needed to try something new so I joined the gym. I got motivated reading Oxygen Magazine in the gym and was absolutely amazed with the girls in the magazine. I got so many great fitness and nutrition tips. I wanted to look like that and I believe I finally do now at the age of 32. I changed the way I was eating and started filling my fridge and cupboards up with healthy groceries like chicken, egg whites, fish, fruit, veggies, almonds, tuna, protein powder, and oatmeal. Not only did I start feeling better, I was looking better and on top of all of that, I started staying away from all the bad influences in my life and changed who I was inside and out. I never looked back.
Love the way my body looks with muscle, love feeling great inside and out everyday. I love how I can push myself to the max with every workout. I am getting stronger everyday and putting on more muscle mass every year.

Tuesday: back and biceps
Wednesday: cardio day 45min to 1 hour
Thursday: chest, shoulders and triceps
Friday: back and biceps
Saturday: legs
Sunday: cardio or rest
I do 20-30 minutes of cardio everyday before my weights to get it over with. I train abs everyday.
I do 3-4 sets of each exercise I pick, usually minimum 3 for the big muscle groups and shoulders. I only do 1-2 exercises for biceps and triceps because they get targeted enough working chest and triceps together and back and biceps together. Sometimes if I have a really great heavy workout, I cannot train arms at all because they are just burning already!
Exercises I always do are pushups, dumbbell chest press, bent over rows, pullups, squats, lunges, and dumbbell shoulder press. My other exercises are always different. I am starting to incorporate deadlifts as well to build up more size in my back and legs.
