When I Started:
Sep, 2005
How I Started:
I was training to compete in a bicycle race and my trainer asked me to compete in a figure show. I was skeptical until I did research. Now I love it!
Why I Love It:
I like to feel the sweat as it rolls down my back. I like when it is all over and I get to strut out the gym. I like looking like I workout. I just flat out like it!
How I Stay Motivated:
My daughters motivate me. They have been competitive cheerleaders since the age of four. I like cheering for them and they love being a cheerleader for their mom. Plus I have to continue giving them a reason to wear their shirts that say "My mom is hot, yours is not."
BB Accomplishments:
Competing. Just getting on stage for the first time was wonderful and fearful. I can't wait to do it again.

This is the only body He gave me. I can not take it when I go, so I will treat it like I can't live without it.

Goal (Long):
Appreciate the positive! Attack the gym like a woman of steel. Be a constant encouragement to my girls.
OK since I am not officially competing until next year I decided to treat myslef. And ohboi did I. I had a strawberry and banana creme pie shake from Sonic's and some pizza from the HUT. I had a great cheat day. It was so fun while it lasted. Now it is back to the chicken and turkey...
I do, I love to run, it is my release from everything. I am hoping to train for a half marathon this fall (it is way too hot here to train in the summer). Do you run?
