While working as a contractor in Iraq, the medic informed me that I had very high blood pressure and that it needed to be gotten under control. So I decided to loose weight and get back in shape. Concentrated on eating healthy and cardio intensive type workouts. As far as weight training I stuck mainly to supersets and lower weights.

It has been 3 weeks since I pulled the muscle in my lower back on the left side. Took 2 weeks off to recover and now am back in the gym. I have stayed away from the free weights and have focused on circuit training. What is the typical recovery time for a pulled/strained back muscle? I...
1. 2-3 mile run, Chest and Tricepts, Abs
2. 2-3 mile run, Back and Bicepts, Abs
3. 2-3 mile run, Legs and Shoulders, Abs
Try to do supersets to keep my heart rate up. Prefer free weights and strength training.
3 exercises per muscle group, 3 sets at 8 to 12 reps.

alright i'll make a big announcement when i figure out which one... i'm going to do it. i think there is another show in dallas next month or the month after, i need to go check it out see how it works :)
