I need the strength, lifting toolboxes get heavy after 8 hours.
How I Stay Motivated:
Look in the mirror and know that is NOT what I want to look like. Would like to walk around without a shirt on and not feel uncomfortable. I'm missing out on spending time with my son at the pool because I'm unhappy. I can't take back the the time I've lost but I can make our future time better.
BB Accomplishments:
Adding muscle and knowing that it is there and I'm the only one that notices it. I'm making progress.

I don't want I NEED to be in better shape. I've made toolboxes for 20 years and I haven't had any surgery because of the repeating nature of the work. I need to gain muscle and be comfortable taking my shirt
off anywhere. My main problem is I love to cook anything and snacking late at night is my demon. Discipline
Hey andrew40--no dumb questions. I usually have a million at any one time. Once you get into gear with a program that works, you'll be amazed at what you can achieve. Go for it.
Hey Andrew: Thanks for the encouraging comment on my profile. I appreciate it. You know, I surprise myself that I keep at this, but avoiding pain has been an incredible motivator for me--arthritis isn't fun, but bb'ing really helps me manage it better than taking anti-inflamatories that aren't so good for the body, otherwise. You know, encouragement like yours, also helps a lot. Thanks, guy. I appreciate the feedback. Let me know if I can help you in any way.
Andrew......from the looks of things, you're off to a great start. Just don't get caught up in all the holiday trappings of fatty foods and continue eating clean, working out and getting plenty of rest and you'll be there quicker than you think. Keep going - Gary
Thanks for stopping by. Keep going Andrew, you'll get there. Slow and steady weight loss is what you want to perserve LBM. Continued success to you friend!
