Two weeks after this photo I weighed in at 450 lbs. at my first Weight Watchers meeting.
Down 150 pounds in 11 months. I'm losing an average of about 3 pounds per week.

Break the 200 lbs. barrier! I want to weigh 194 pounds and be healthy.
Goal (Long):
Spring 2008 I weighed 450 lbs. and was in very poor health. I have lost two siblings to weight and health related issues. I want to live long enough and be healthy enough to play with my grandchildren. My long-term goal is to lose a total of 256 pounds. As of January 2009 I am a little more than half-way to accomplishing my goal. This morning at Weight Watchers I weighed in at 316.4 pounds! That is a total loss of 134.2 pounds. I can do this. I am eating better. I am exercising regularly and using the help of a strength training coach at Gold's Gym. I want to lost weight and gain muscle to help fill in all the flabby skin I'm left with.

Do you monitor your heart rate while doing cardio?
What is your cardio exercise plan?
I walk an average of 1.5 miles each day. I usually only get 5 of 7 days walking in, but I'm still averaging 1.5 miles a day 7 days a week.
What is your favorite cardiovascular exercise? Why?
Walking. I can do it just about anytime -- anywhere.
