Yup, me, one week before having my first child. I weighed 209 here and my daughter was 8lb 9 oz of that. I remember that skirt, it was a 44 inch waist!
I just finished putting away all my competition stuff for the season. I am so used to seeing it all over my house....oh how the mind loves to mess with you. Yesterday, I was sighing with relief to be starting offseason and stop the dieting. Today, I miss competing already. I feel lost...
I'm having my wife shoot them this Saturday. I am in carb depletion mode right now and will start carb loaded Thursday evening. I will send in my picture on Monday and then hopefully the judges will pick me as one of the 60 semi-finalists. The fact that there is an essay portion is really going to help my cause. Thanks for the well wishes. Your hamstrings are out of control in the avatar shot, btw.
I was thinking of adding Blue Bell Strawberry, but felt I could hold off until Thanksgiving. ;) Read u were having post-comp doldrums in the off-season. Rest is so important after the long comp season. Try to stay bright, Amy...Feb 2010 will be here soon, stunning lady.
I agree Amy you are looking hard and full in a good way..Could you please add me as your friend so that it will be easier to be attentive to your needs. Thanks
Tony
Looking gorgeous Amy! I meant to ask who the photographer was for these recent pictures - they are so nice. Congrat's on the competition - now you can enjoy Thanksgiving, yes? School's been hectic - I am looking forward to it! xoxoxo from mom and me
wish I could have been there to see you on stage. the pics look great. I had the same sad feeling after my show. but you have been competing all yr and so deserve some time off. I'm hoping to do a show in Otawa Ill. april 3rd. if I could get my sh#t together and stop cheating on my diet...positive thoughts! sending smiles your way...
Congratulations on a wonderful season. Judging from the comments and despite the first class pics in your gallery, I'd say your biggest wins were not on stage, and not even in your own life. They may be the ones you helped countless others win in their own personal battles as they looked to you and found the courage and inspiration to not give up. Personal thanks from me in that regard.
BEAUTIFUL Nov 10 progress pic from the back, Amy! I was KIND of thinking of MAAAYBE doing a show but, yikes!, I hardly compare...and I don't have the proper equipment or a trainer. But you sure do inspire me, Amy! :)
I'm ok, having a few days off from fitness training. Burnt out to the maxxx! Just letting myself enjoy any food and no work, only thing is I'm not eating the foods I'd crave, my body doesn't seem to want it - weird huh!
