How I Started:
Snap Fitness opened a gym by my house and I was alway a cardio whore, but I signed up for some personal training sessions, which introduced my to weight lifting and I was hooked!
Why I Love It:
I love how lifting weights and training hard pushes me past my comfort zone and makes me realize how strong my body is. I love the fact that you can shape your body with hard work and sweat.
How I Stay Motivated:
In October 2008 I compeated in my first two figure competions and loved it! Standing on stage in a little tiny posing suit is what keeps me motivated!
BB Accomplishments:
I placed 5th (short class) in the 2008 NPC Western, MI Figure division.

picture taken before starting lean out diet for shows in Aug and Sept. Weight 136 lbs
5 weeks out from my show down from 136 lbs in May to 120 lbs. Feeling good about the gains I made in the off season. Just trying to burn off that last little bit of fat before show time!

I have food alergies.

My clean eating has definately helped me control my allergies.

My husband and I no longer go to the bars, parties, very rarely eat out, it has kind of made us our own little island, but it is a good island.
