A tomboy from the beginning, I have always been athletic. My drive is for me and only me. I don't do it for any particular sport or occasion. I do it because I like being strong and muscular.
Why I Love It:
It is the fountain of youth. It relieves stress...and mainly, because I am lost without it!
How I Stay Motivated:
Lifting weights is something I WANT to do, and has never been something that I view as a chore. I am just one of those lucky ones who naturally LOVES to lift weights and take care of my body.
If I want time off, I take it. I usually don't want it, or take it. I maintain my lifting schedule religiously, but sometimes it is nice to take a week off every few months. I listen to my body.
This is what I am. This is what I do. I can't really think of a time since I was seven that I didn't have freeweights, pushups, ab work, etc be a part of my daily life. Now my regimine has matured with me!
BB Accomplishments:
I have maxed out the seated leg press machine and the glute machine (Now I just stack a load of extra plates onto em...people def. do a double take to see such a little girl lifting so much weight)!
My biggest accomplishment is motivating other people to eat right and lift weights just by living my life in the way I do with fitness and nutrition...I find it so gratifying to lead by example!
