I got started by watching my dad do it. He started teaching me different exercises and I really enjoyed it. I love weight lifting and working out.
Why I Love It:
I love it because it energizes me and makes me feel good about my body, physically and mentally. It allows me to be more confident in my sports and strength as well.
How I Stay Motivated:
I use my results as motivation. From measurements, to definition, to overall strength whether I'm working out or grocery shopping.
BB Accomplishments:
Gaining 15lbs. of muscle which allowed me to be powerful enough to qualify for Districts in long jump twice in high school.
I want to create a strong, healthy, and lean body by summer and a certified personal trainer by fall!
Goal (Long):
I gained 15lbs of muscle for track, but now that I'm out of high school and can no longer due track due to severe shin damage, I want to lean up a great amount. I also have a little stomach on me that I'd love to tone up, but not get it ripped. I also, need to build my upper body strength, this is where I wouldn't mind gaining muscle. I knew I lacked upper body strength, but it was never as important as my legs and abs were in track, but I tried to do yoga one morning and I couldn't hold myself up for some of the poses; that was quite the revelation that they could use more work. haha.
Weight Goal:
I want to LOSE 20 lb
Bodyfat Goal:

How has bodybuilding and fitness helped you in your career?
It did in my high school track career along with volleyball and cheerleading, but now I'm hoping it'll help lead me to becoming a personal training to help pay for college and rent until I get my job job.It did in my high school track career along with volleyball and cheerleading, but now I'm hoping it'll help lead me to becoming a personal training to help pay for college and rent until I get my job ...more
Some of my friends have been doing the P90X program and have seen really good results and on Amazon they have seem to have great ratings. Has anyone tried this program? Any comments or opinions on it?
