Late February-early March 2008, I hired a personal trainer because I was afraid of lifting weights. I had NO CLUE, AND NO DESIRE to lift weights, but I knew I needed to tone. Brett has helped me learn to lift weights correctly and I am hooked...simply hooked on lifting..the heavy weights.
Why I Love It:
The body is simply amazing, and we can mold our bodies into a beautiful work of art. I have always wanted to be an artist, but I can't draw or sculpt an object, BUT I can make my body a work of art TO MY LIKING. I can have the body beautiful AND I WILL HAVE THE BODY BEAUTIFUL....and with the help and grace of God and my dogged determination to reach one goal and make another, I will do it! That is why I love bodybuilding...I have gone from the stinkin thinkin that "I think I can" to "I know I can."
How I Stay Motivated:
I always celebrate every gain that I make. I clap for myself, I smile and tell myself good job, I love myself. Each setback that I experience I plan my comeback. But, the thing I LOVE to do most is help motivate people to become their best. I don't have secrets to my success...I share my successes cuz I want you to celebrate, clap for yourself , smile and tell yourself....dang...I am good!
BB Accomplishments:
I can do 3 sets of man pushups...in March I had a hard time doing 8 women pushups.
My core is getting stronger every week, I had the weakest abs in the gym...not anymore.
I am beginning to see cuts....yeah baby

This pic was taken at the very beginning of my diet. I started out with weight watchers.
Started taking the creatine a few weeks back. Also eating between 1800-2200 calories a day. I am definitely retaining some water, but it is getting better as my body gets used to the creatine. I like the stuff!! Looking smooth tho :(. My BF is down however, so I am not stressing about it too much.

Goal (Long):
I want to constantly get better with age. I do believe that age is just a number, but it can be more than a number if we let ourselves go. I want to look my best and hopefully motivate my friends and family to follow my example. So if I want to be an example, I need to do what it takes to live and look the part. I want people to say...wow she's forty-three? I always reach my goals! Having a vision is part of the plan, and I can see where I want to be. There are alot of great looking people on this site that will motivate me to be my best. And who knows what's next.

It is hump day and so far I am meeting most of my goals. I did not meet my sleep goal last night, but other than that, I am kicking butt with my 3 goals...you know 1) eating 2-3 hours 2) 2-3 L of water 3) sleep 7-8 hours.
I am out of town the rest of the week at more training stuff at work....
So what did u learn about creatine? I take a Kre-alkayn form.sorry about my spelling.I was taking creatine before and didn't notice a thing. until i took a kre - stak.

I haven't been taking the creatine since I haven't been training as much. I've been sick for several days too, but feeling much better now! How is everything with you?:(
