When I Started: Mar, 2008
How I Started: Late February-early March 2008, I hired a personal trainer because I was afraid of lifting weights. I had NO CLUE, AND NO DESIRE to lift weights, but I knew I needed to tone. Brett has helped me learn to lift weights correctly and I am hooked...simply hooked on lifting..the heavy weights.
Why I Love It: The body is simply amazing, and we can mold our bodies into a beautiful work of art. I have always wanted to be an artist, but I can't draw or sculpt an object, BUT I can make my body a work of art TO MY LIKING. I can have the body beautiful AND I WILL HAVE THE BODY BEAUTIFUL....and with the help and grace of God and my dogged determination to reach one goal and make another, I will do it! That is why I love bodybuilding...I have gone from the stinkin thinkin that "I think I can" to "I know I can."
How I Stay Motivated: I always celebrate every gain that I make. I clap for myself, I smile and tell myself good job, I love myself. Each setback that I experience I plan my comeback. But, the thing I LOVE to do most is help motivate people to become their best. I don't have secrets to my success...I share my successes cuz I want you to celebrate, clap for yourself , smile and tell yourself....dang...I am good!
BB Accomplishments: I can do 3 sets of man pushups...in March I had a hard time doing 8 women pushups.

My core is getting stronger every week, I had the weakest abs in the gym...not anymore.

I am beginning to see cuts....yeah baby

Before the diet Hmmmmmmmm
This pic was taken at the very beginning of my diet. I started out with weight watchers.  Started taking the creatine a few weeks back. Also eating between 1800-2200 calories a day. I am definitely retaining some water, but it is getting better as my body gets used to the creatine. I like the stuff!! Looking smooth tho :(. My BF is down however, so I am not stressing about it too much.

Main Goal: Transform My Body
Goal (Short): 3 Goals this week in order: 1) Faithfully eat every 2-3 hours 2) At least sleep 7-8 hours a day five times this week 3) drink 2-3 liters of water a day
Goal (Long): I want to constantly get better with age. I do believe that age is just a number, but it can be more than a number if we let ourselves go. I want to look my best and hopefully motivate my friends and family to follow my example. So if I want to be an example, I need to do what it takes to live and look the part. I want people to say...wow she's forty-three? I always reach my goals! Having a vision is part of the plan, and I can see where I want to be. There are alot of great looking people on this site that will motivate me to be my best. And who knows what's next.
Weight Goal: I want to LOSE 8 lb

It is hump day and so far I am meeting most of my goals. I did not meet my sleep goal last night, but other than that, I am kicking butt with my 3 goals...you know 1) eating 2-3 hours 2) 2-3 L of water 3) sleep 7-8 hours.

I am out of town the rest of the week at more training stuff at work....

Hey! How are you? Training has been a little slow, but I'm getting ready to pick up the pace next week when the kids go back to school. I haven't been taking the creatine since I haven't been training as much. I've been sick for several days too, but feeling much better now! How is everything with you?:(
