How I Started:
My boyfriend had recently started working out again, and was getting really great results. I decided I didn't want to be the out of shape one in the relationship, so I decided to change my body too.
Why I Love It:
It's my "me time". I get to focus on making myself better, stronger, and healthier.
How I Stay Motivated:
My boyfriend helps me stay on track. He helps to challenge me and keeps pushing me. Plus, his progress makes me jealous and keeps me working hard to keep up!
BB Accomplishments:
Not a whole lot yet. I am proud to say that when I started, I couldn't run a quarter mile without getting so out of breath that I couldn't walk, and now I run 2 miles every day. Maybe I shouldn't be proud of that, but as an asthmatic, I think I've come a long way in a few short months.
I've never been able to chin-up my own body weight. I was always embarrassed in grade school gym class because I could not even move myself with my arms! Now, I'm getting close to being able to do chin-ups unassisted! I am so excited!

Hey... We go to the same gym and have the same goal!
Some day I will get off that darn assisted pullup machine and do a full set of pull ups by myself. I started at the beginning of the year with the full 112 pounds of assistance that the machine gives. I'm now down to doing 8 (or 9 on a good day) with only 40 lbs of help...
