Hey there! The 'amd' is just my initials, nothing too clever - just easy enough to remember. :) Thanks for the compliments on the back photos. I'm far from an iron expert but I would credit any general back thickness to deadlifts. Any lats I have are probably from various barbell and dumbbell rows and pulldowns. I don't have a fav back exercise, but back w.o.'s are on my top fav list of things to work. Maybe my enthusiasm is finally paying off. Thanks again!

& Continued (stupid 500 chars max!)... Yes, I think weights are helpful in minimizing the appearance of loose skin. By focusing on body composition rather than pure scale weight I ensured I didn't lose valuable lean muscle mass during my fast paced weight loss. I'm sure I'd look entirely different, worse for the wear without those dumbbells.

Continued... I wouldn't sweat it. I think it has more to do with genetics than anything, no predicting the future. Don't let anything worry you. I PROMISE the results are worth it and that whatever loose skin you may end up with is concealable.

Some, a bit in the ab area. No worse than some post-baby abs I've seen. Doesn't effect my life, my clothing size or my confidence at all. I get a ton of comments from people incredulous I ever weighed 300# - because it's not at all apparent. The little loose skin I have is NOTHING compared to the extra weight I once carried. The saggy stomach is my secret, the obesity was public.

Thanks so much! I do hit the weights, it's the best discovery I've made on my weight loss trip!
