When I Started:
Jul, 2006
How I Started:
One day I woke up out of my denial. After looking at pictures of me at the beach, I noticed I looked pregnant. Denial is such an awful thing, and many women suffer from it.
Why I Love It:
Because I love God, and God wants me to be mindful of everything I do. I should eat to live, not live to eat.
How I Stay Motivated:
I must admit, I have not been motivated lately. Looking at my favorite fitness models and constantly taking pictures of myself - being in touch with how I really look, not how I think I look helps a great deal. I KNOW I am not at my best.
BB Accomplishments:
So far, I have lost 30 pounds, with no gym membership, no personal trainer, and no supplements. I have slacked off lately, but I have a goal to win a fitness competition on my own as well.

Matthew 19:26 Jesus looked at them and said, "With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible."
All of my life I have eaten what, when, how, and why I wanted to. I had no clue what self-control and taking care of myself was for. I want to be a woman who takes of herself for the rest of her life and has self-control.
I now have a trainer for about the next 7 weeks. She won 2nd place in a World Amateur competition in 2000. I have totally new everything... I am so excited.
What was inspiring for me, was to physically go to a fitness competition and watch it first hand...I'm sure you can find a local one, trust me it was amazing!
You have made good progress on your own without going to a gym but if you want to be in or have a chance of winning a fitness contest you will have to start working out with weights. Also the weights will help you with weight loss and shaping your figure. I wish you much success.
great work. you really know what you want and you are intelligent too. I saw that video about vigorexia, very informative indeed. Keep working and good luck wih your goal, if you plan to win since the beginnig you'll win. see ya
Ambersoley, Your transformation is amazing and it shows Gods has power over the earth. Keeping pushing yourself to new limits to bring glory to him and you will succeed. God Bless. Brian
Vault Zero, Fanta Zero and Vanilla Zero are my favorites. I'm quite skeptical of what the media and "scientists," lob our way. Most of the time, agenda's cloud these findings and I would suggest that in about another year or so, the report finding diet soda to be the cure for cancer will be out....and yes I'll be skeptical of that one too. Probably wrong, but I question everything. Have a good rest-o-your day!
In regards to your blog, Gonna have to side with the ABA on this one. I'm not sure what this study proves, being that the only monitored item during the study was whether or not participants consumed a soda (regular or diet).
How about the rest of the diet regimen each participant followed? Did they follow-up their daily soda with Twinkies and Cheeseburgers, or with Spinach and Carrot salads. Without knowing the other variables, this study holds no water in my opinion. Just thoughts from the hazy side.....
