rebmannylchanged Weight from 129.4 lbs. to 127.4 lbs., a 2 lb. loss in 55 days
All of my life I have eaten what, when, how, and why I wanted to. I had no clue what self-control and taking care of myself was for. I want to be a woman who takes of herself for the rest of her life and has self-control.
Does anyone know where to get an accurate yet reasonable priced scale? I have bought 2 scales and they are driving me nuts. I got a digital one but it only weighs in .5 increments and will give me 2 different numbers back to back? And the manual one tells me I am 4.5 less than the digital. ...
Hey there:))
I actually only use a trainer a couple of days a week if I'm planning to do a show for extra motivation and to spot so I can go super heavy... otherwise I like to train myself...:)

As for a trainer, I think you learn different things from each one. I have had several over the years. It is nice, but not necessary. They can be a helpful support system for you. If competing is your goal, their experience is very valuable if that is their specialty.
To answer your question...I am a trainer so I've never had one personaly. And as a trainer my goal is always to EQUIP my clients with the info they need to succeed WITHOUT ME. SO NO, I don't think people need to have trainers all the time to succeed. HOWEVER it's good to have a solid relationship with KNOWLEDGEABLE people (like a trainer) who support you with good truthful advice to help you toward continual progress.
Hi there! That is a great question! Using a trainer isn't necessary to get results, but it does mean you have to be super motivated and disciplined - and be able to teach yourself by watching videos and other people train. I chose to use a trainer when I started last year because I wanted to learn the correct techniques and strategies for training so I could then train myself in the future. I think that was a good decision.
I used a trainer in the beginning of my fitness quest for a couple of years. When I decided to take it to the next level, I got a nutritioist who also gave me a training plan to do on my own. This was nice on my own time. Best of luck with your goals.
Thank you for your kind words. If there is ever anything that I can do to be of assistance please feel free to give me a yell. Remember: "At first so many of your dreams seem impossible, then they just seem improbable, and then, through your hard work, they soon become inevitable."
I stopped by to say way to go and to wish you nothing but success as you continue towards your fitness goal. Too many people think it can’t be done and so they don't even try but you are proving that with hard work and determination it can be. I look forward to watching your progress. You are already beautiful so all you have is the healthy top work on. Stay strong, focused and determined and may God bless
