When I Started:
Jun, 1984
How I Started:
My dad was a competitive bodybuilder and introduced me to the sport.
I continued to lift until I was pregnant and had to stop due to complications. I had two children in one year (Irish Twins) and after my second child was born I weighed 320lbs and wore a whopping size 29!
Before my dad passed away I made a promise to him that I would you all the knowledge he gave me over the years and get back into shape!
I did it! I have been striving after my goals ever since; which has lead me to entering this contest.
Thank you in advance for considering me:)
Why I Love It:
I feel isolated from the world for that short time.
How I Stay Motivated:
Never wanting to have to lose sooo much fat again!

How long do you rest between sets on average? Why?
Not long. Honestly, I like to train and not sit. Also, I always have a lot on my plate and want to fit in everything...always watching the clock.

Have you ever had a lifting injury?
Yes
What type of injury was it? How long were you injured? How did you recover?
I tore my hamstring in the most medial region right off the bone. I was about 10 weeks out from Provincials at the time. I persevered and trained throught the pain, doing what I could and went for graston treatments along with constantly icing it.
I am still not fully recovered because I did not give my ham the time needed to heal. It has been almost 18months!
