My nutrition program is now as simple as ever... I follow IIFYM (if it fits in YOUR macros).
From the last week of May until the end of this year, my calories will remain higher. I am working hard on putting on some decent muscle mass and building up trouble areas (basically the entire lower body!). My calories are at 2500 and I aim for around 83 g fat, 281 g carbs, and 156 g protein each day. This calorie amount is not set in stone and I may make it higher later but for now this is how it is. :) of course I don't reach the exact grams of macronutrients but I aim as closely as possible. I eat as many natural and "clean" foods as possible but hey...if I am sick of eating and need to fill in some calories...HELLO POPTARTS. People make diets in general too complicated and miss the "big picture." think about your overall calories and macronutrients...then consider your micronutrients (vitamins, minerals). Of course, don't eat total crap all the time...but also don't attempt to say no to foods you love all the time either.Moderation = SUCCESS! :) :) :)
