When I Started: Jan, 2005
How I Started: Chemotherapy left me feeling ugly inside and out. I was bald, overweight, out of shape, and had lost control of my life. The experience was a blessing that changed my life forever.
Why I Love It: Fitness truly makes my life better and if people do just one-quarter of what I do at the competition level, they will be successful and more importantly, healthy.

Awesome comeback and great attitude after having cancer. i have known quite a few friends who have been through chemo and radiation, so I have seen the toll it can take on you emotionally and physically.
