My philosphy: Learn ur body! It's a journey, so take ur time& be patient. For me:low carb, moderate fat & high protein diet seems be working
MORNING WORKOUT
7:30am - Protein Shake
9:30am - 50g (measured dry) oats+ 1 tablespoon peanut butter+ apple & 2 whole eggs + 4 whites
& 4 x 1000mg flaxseed oil softcapsules (from clicks)
12:30pm - salad (lettuce/spinach, tomatoes, peppers, 1 tablespoon of olive oil and balsamic vinegar) & 100g (measured cooked) ostrich steak/ 120g (1tin) of tuna & 4 plain corn cakes
3:00pm - Nutrimax Maxilean thermogenic protein bar / protein shake
6:00pm - salad (lettuce/spinach, tomatoes, peppers, 1 tablespoon of olive oil and balsamic vinegar) & 100g (measured cooked) chicken breast/ & two-four plain corn cakes
EVENING TRAINING/WORKOUT
Post Workout Protein Shake
6 egg white spinach omelette OR salad (lettuce/spinach, tomatoes, peppers with olive oil and balsamic vinegar) & 100g (measured cooked) chicken breast

I think supplements do have a place in the pursuit of any dedicated fitness goal BUT food basics come first!
I use:
USN Pure Glutamine
A good multivitamin
Vitamin C powder 2000mg
Calcium and Magnesium tablets (especially since I generally cut out dairy)
Joint support capsules
ON Whey Protein and Nutrimax Protein Bars (For a low calorie protein boost to my whole foods diet)

My Personal Motto: Inspired to be extraordinary, daring to be distinguished...in EVERYTHING I do.
I am a self motivated individual. Why do I do this? Because I want it for myself. I do this for me and no one else. I set the goal and therefore I stick to it. In this game of fitness, results are the only evidence of the discipline, dedication and hard work put in. It's that simple.
