How I Started:
Started working out in high school for football.Started getting into bodybuilding and strongman in 2000. Started competing in strongman contests in 2006
Why I Love It:
The rush you get from throwing around heavy ass weights.
Corey stickes with it through thick and thin, never giving up. He has the goal of making the worlds strongest man contest and will not stop until he gets there. He is truly dedicated to this sport. This inspires me greatly.
I am in my off season training status right now. The next strongman contest that I am planning is scheduled for May 2010. Here is a quick rundown of my training schedule.
Mondays 4pm Chest and Shoulders
              9pm Strongman training, Atlas...
i have been it tuch with a few people ther are gyms in aberdeen 2 hr away from me and one in perth which is about the same, both of scotlands strongst men are local to me i have tryed to contact them but i think thay dont want anyone els to be compertition for them so wont train with anyone els, I have been looking in to moaving to wales have had more luck ther with finding people to train with

I dont have a set training pattern only some whights and cardo I am starting from scratch and going to work ahrd in 2010
This is SC checking in with all the hardcore. This is off season for most so let's focus on bieng safe but making those much needed gains. Keep us all up to date with upcoming contests and whatever (PRs) you make. Knowing this keeps us all motivated to do better. Let's give it hell SC!!!!!
thanks for all the help i think ill build a stone with plaster of Paris and I will work more towards building bicep strength i already work my forearms almost every day chopping wood so i think I'm good in that part off the lift. grip,legs,biceps i will probably have to train more though. PS Ill fill you in on how the meet goes.
i got my first show coming up in September and im needing to know how much strength is required in your 1rep maxes to lift a 225lb atlas stone that's the only thing i haven't practice yet.
