Oh my time sucked, I ran 41 minutes. I looked for my shoe for about 5 minutes, then it's like a one lane thing the trail is really small so if one walks you all walk. Probably walked about 15 minutes of it, lol. At that point we were just cutting up and having fun. I kept getting mad b/c this one chick kept pushing past us walking then when we were able to run again she would still be walking, passed her 4times. Plus couldnt really run around anyone barefoot!
Not marathons yet, I would love to do one someday. You know the spillway bridge you cross going from Kenner towards LaPlace. You have to get off on the 310 going towards boutte/houma but there is the norco exit wher they have the shell refinery (I think)
Came in second in the open middleweight. The guy that won wasn't as conditioned, but was thicker. So that's what i've been trying to work towards ever since then. Lol if you have any tips, let me know.
honestly my precontest conditioning is all diet. the only thing i used in the way of supplements is protein and waximaize for post-workout carbs. that and some water pill from walgreens to lose the water the last few days was all i used.
I have problems with it on the weekends. It was the Spillway Classic Trail Run in Norco. Can you believe it rained in BR & NOLA all week and didn't rain there. Course wasnt that muddy. But I got pushed in the mud pit by my "friend" and lost a shoe. Had to run 1.75miles barefoot through the woods. BUT IT WAS FUN!!!
Well glad to hear that, but hope your shoulder feels better soon! I have been doing good, really pushing my body to the limits, just got to work a lil harder on the diet :P Happy Training :) Amber
