I started lifting in early in high school and continued through college while playing rugby. I primarily lifted for sport (and the ladies of course). Starting a family and a career threw many obstacles in my way; giving me plenty of reasons to make excuses for not getting into the gym.
Why I Love It:
I enjoy the fatigue from a great workout - it's relaxing and gives me a sense of accomplishment. I have an appreciation for a well developed physique knowing the work required to build and maintain one. The results you get from bodybuilding are hard-earned and rewarding.
How I Stay Motivated:
I haven't reached my goal(s) yet and that keeps me motivated to press on. And when I do reach my goal(s), there will be a new one to start working towards.
BB Accomplishments:
Changing my lifestyle to promote health and provide a positive influence to my children and friends. Reducing BF% from 24% to 10%. Increased strength and well being.

Luck has nothing to do with it. It's all about discipline, dedication and intensity. Hit it hard!
Be lean and gain muscle. Check out my routine at http://forum.bodybuilding.com/showthread .php?t=115656641
Goal (Long):
I love going to the gym - that's the easy part. I continue to work on developing the discipline to manage my diet so I don't hinder the progress I make in the gym. I'm driven to go and hit the iron but I have to motivate myself to control the diet 24hrs a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year.
My goal is eat and train smarter so I can drop my bodyfat to 8% then build lean muscle mass while maintaining a 8-10% bodyfat average and look better in my 30s than I did in my 20s.

Why? What are the pros and cons of working out there?
Pros - I'm focused on the task at hand, has the equipment I need and I actually kinda like the people watching aspect (it can be entertaining at times). Cons - people, lots and lots of people. :)
Why I like this video: Vid by Marc Lobliner, President of Scivation. Sludge tastes like your cheating. I make it with Scivation Choc Whey, Natty PB and frozen mixed berries. I could eat it all day.
I've been focused on reducing my bf% lately and it's finally starting to get hard. As in depleted. No gas in the tank. Over the last two weeks I have felt my energy slip away and it really shows in my lifts. This is when I want to break down and add some carbs back into my diet...
Hey, man.
Insane delts and traps. These are areas I'm really working to build up right now. Other than presses of all sorts, got any special exercises you like to push things over the top?
Cheers!

I hear you bud. Diet def makes a difference. I stop watching what I eat and actually lose weight. Eating healthy is actually making me gain weight, the good kind. Great progress by the way.
