Background

When I Started: Jan 2011
HOW I STARTED:

I have always workout and eaten nutritious. Until recently, I did not get the right advice on how to train my body. I am learning how to train my body and eat right. I now know that diet is about 90% of your results. I am currently carb cycling and weight training 4 days followed by 20-25 min of HIIT. I feel strong, confidant and unstoppable. The way I feel when I am in the gym is my medicine. I challenge myself in new ways everytime I enter. It all started Feb. 25, 2011 when I finally started learning the proper way to train."I am women, hear me ROAR"

WHY I LOVE IT:

Visualizing the body I want...Bodybuilding enables my ability for my own transformation.The way I feel with weights in my hand, pushing through a set I feel I will give up and nailing it out. Pushing against my limits and setting new goal. Wow bodybuild has given me new strive and strength I have never thought possible

Staying accountalbe to myself. I focus on my goals that I have in regards to my body and know sitting around will not get me there. I take it one day at a time and set my goals for that day instead of the month and year. I have found taking baby steps has enabled my success up to this point.

Finally a place of empowerment!

Good evening I started my journey of self discover in Feb of 2011. I have found a renew interest in my inner self and have been nurturing my individual self. I did not realize just how long I allowed my self to sit on the shelve while I tended to the demands of life and relationships. I am a mother of 3 boys, wife. My career is rewarding, I am a motivational speaker in Health Promotions for corporate wellness, Nutritionist and Allied Health Instructor by day.
