I read your post about pre/post workout nutrtion. I loved it, it provided tons of insight. I have a question however: For those who are cutting and only concerned about losing fat and MAINTAINING muscle, is cardio on an empty stomach going to benefit me based on my goals (lose fat, maintain muscle) or will it hurt me? Any advice is much appreciated.

about the dextrose in the pre and post W shakes... you mentioned replacing the dex with fruit and some oats. a few questions--
-does that mean you would recommend the combo of plain dex and the others or just cut out the dex altogether?
-oats= quaker instant oats??

Hey Alan. Thx to your pre and post workout nutrition article, I've mangage to cut some bf% while maintaining my bodyweight in my cutting phase in the past month and 1/2. As u can see, being 140, I def did not want to lose any more body mass. Thx!

I am pretty new to this and I'm having a little bit of difficulty adjusting to the diet and coming up with one for that matter. I am a college student and I'm always on the go. It's hard for me to find foods I can just grab and take with me.. Other than protein bars. My question is how many calories should I be eating. Right now I'm eating around 2,000. I haven't seen much progress but I don't want to cut too low. What do you think?
