akuzyk75changed Weight from 162 lbs. to 161 lbs., a 1 lb. loss in 14 days
I have been lifting for many years and have recently joined a gym with my husband. The only problem I have is in the free weight area. As a common courtesy, when anyone is using the free weights, please step away from the rack. Men are mostly the offenders in this area. They grab their weights...
Amazing progress. You should be proud! What strategy are you putting in place for the holidays, when over-indulgence is everpresent? How has this changed from last year? Thanks for your input!
I am so proud of you!! It's so amazing what happens when we wrap our arms around this lifestyle...it just keeps giving back!! Keep focused & thanks so much for your updates! We'll have to do a new "after" pic for my website!

Amy have you cut out many drinks, like wine, beer, or the fruity stuff? A lovely picture of you and your man.
Keep up the good work
oh and btw... congrats on the 20 pounds... i love to hear success stories more than anything... i think it's hard to "stay" in shape, but it's a real challenge to get there when you weren't before... 20 pounds is pretty significant!! the best part about this is that you get what you put into it right! :)
i have been doing that for years... but if i mess up diet, it was purely my poor choice because i really believe that you can ALWAYS make a good choice even in a real time pickle. (especially if you are as anal as i am... i am ALWAYS prepared.) i've never heard of (or had) a truely decent excuse... which is why i get so angry when i have to accept that i just lost focus/willpower!! yes yes we will support each other though! thank heavens for bodyspace right!
thank you for your insight/comment on my blog. it is so hard to get away from those habits... and it's SUPER encouraging to find that somebody not only understands but is making progress and getting over that issue... if you can then there's no reason i can't too right!!!! :)
I'm so glad to hear it! It's amazing what eating the right foods will do for your energy levels...I know WW works for some people but rarely do I see anyone KEEP the weight off so I'm glad you have a new plan. Sounds like the exercise is off to a fabulous start, too-I'm proud of ya!!
I know how you feel but your measurements/how your clothes feel are really the key to measuring our success. Keep me posted-you know I'm here for whatever you need!
If the goal is to drop weight, I would shoot for 5x/week w/cardio...I would like to see you do around 40-45 min at mod intensity...that means from a scale of 1-10...I want you to feel around a 7...basically, you can hold a conversation but w/broken words...make sense??
thats awesome that your husband is supportive. it def. helps. My bf is has been helpful too. every thursday morning he gets up early to take my pics. we have different schedules so he can get in more sleep than me but is happy to help me . . .
