Background
Really do I need to explain this one? I figure if I post the pictures I will embarrass myself into doing something about this "fat" problem. I am not sure how I got here but I am on my way to never looking like this again. I know all the information. I used to work in a gym, teach classes, read all the latest workout info, and was fit. Somewhere along the line I am what you see now. When I checked my blood pressure a few weeks ago and realizing that 40 is around the corner. I want to feel my best I have ever felt by my 40th Birthday and for life.
It's not that I don't like to workout. You would thinks so by my current status. I love to workout. I love feeling stronger than other girls. I love walking into the gym knowing all the exercises, proper moves, what I am working. I am not afraid of weight or "bulking". I love the endorphin rush after. I love pushing my body to the limits and the sweat dripping off me. So here I am, ready to clean up my diet.

Posted in Working Out : Feb 07, 2012 12:40pmToday was my first week of the 100K challenge completed and I lost Five lbs. I contribute this to interval training and plyometric exercises I added in between weight sets. I either do 5 minutes on the elliptical or a plyometric exercise, keeping my heart rate up.
Note to self - don't do toe taps two days in a row. On my 10th set of 25 toe taps my IT band was screaming. I came home and soaked in some epsom bath salts to relieve the aching in my hips. I can only hope this doesn't turn into some D.O.M.'s. Cross your fingers.
