How I Started:
Well...I have been active since I was a girl with gymnastics and dance. I moved to Orlando for 3yrs, deciding to come back to AZ in 2001. I have always been in the gym but never "trained" or "dieted" in any way, mostly doing cardio and some controlled weight machines. I met my husband and overtime begin to train with him, learning what it meant to be a partner. We then decided in 2004 after reading an article in "flex" to clean our diet and really train, with fat loss as our main goal. This was my first attempt ever at anything of the sort. It never dawned on me that I needed to maintain a certain level of Body Fat percentage in order to be truly healthy. I started at 23%, and had a goal of %15, which I met in 12 weeks. I was extremely proud of myself for obtaining that goal. Now...I am ready to do that again!
Why I Love It:
I don't actually enjoy working out at all, hehe...It Sucks! I do rather enjoy knowing that there is a possibility of transforming your body with the control of your diet. I have learned from my previous experiance that my body is unqiue in the sense that, it reacts well to diet and proper training...what I mean is, It might be more difficult for some but for me the difficulty is staying movtivated.
How I Stay Motivated:
Ahh...Motivation! Simple...If I say I am going to do something or committ to obtaining a certain goal, then I do. If I don't then I fail, and no one wants to fail. Oh yeah, and My hubby helps (alot)...hehe, when he isn't giving me a hard time, ;) wink, wink
