Overall Goal: Back in the gym with a new fire! Finally pulled myself together after disappointing 1st competition and back to training hard! (Thanks for this community's support!) Looking at March of next year to compete again.
Fit Status:
Working in the low rep range for first time in my life. Crazy to see the added size coming in!
I battled various eating disorders as a teenager, but was first inspired by this crazy ripped girl I would see when I started going to the gym. While the rest of us were doing cardio and looking the same, she was pounding the weights and looking amazing. She made me change my idea of the perfect body from "super-model skinny" to sexy lean muscle. Today my idols are Maggie Diubaldo, Felicia Romero, Sonia Adcock, and Ava Cowan.
Why I Love It:
It is few hours of the day that I give to myself. It is the only time of the day that I focus on nothing but that moment in time, and every day is a personal journey - training for my first show was amazing to see that I could push myself further than I ever imagined.
How I Stay Motivated:
I am motivated by how great I feel and look when I am in shape. I get inspired by seeing how others have transformed their bodies. I look at Sonia Adcock and Felicia Romero, and Chickentuna(!) and it gives me the drive to keep going when all I want to do is pack it in!
BB Accomplishments:
Competing in my first figure competition. Going again next year, this time having learned from my mistakes. No more being scared of putting on too much size in the off-season, to be left with nothing after cutting. Grow baby, grow!!
First fitness shoot for a camera shy girl!

Yikes! Me in my 20s. An athlete AND worked out 6 times a week, but had no idea about diet.
SIGH! Wake-up call! Post-competition blues + exhaustion and burnout = lack of motivation, and it shows!! Was so scared to gain size post show that I "cardio-d" and dieted my muscle away = higher BF %. Time to refocus and get back on the grind.

Goal (Long):
Compete again. PROJECT balance lower body by adding muscle to upper body. Oh, and some lines in my legs would be nice, geez! Ultimate goal would be go to nationals, and maybe one day get a supplement sponsor.
