Actually my dad encouraged me to start weight training. He brought me along to his club gym and ever since then, I was hooked! My dad has always trained with weights when he was younger and he has been a big influence to my bodybuilding endeavors. Having people or someone supporting your sporting goals will make a big difference whether you'll succeed in it or not.
Why I Love It:
I love this sport because it brings out my individuality and everything is within my control.
Bodybuilding is an art, starting right from executing the reps at the gym to the finished product when u display it for everyone to see.I dictate how much progress I make and decide how I want my body to look. It is definitely worth every drop of sweat and effort.
How I Stay Motivated:
By constantly setting goals and deadlines for myself.
I try to peak at least once or twice a year. For me, having a photo shoot around the corner gets me up and early on the treadmill without fail.
Getting in shape is a business for me and it helps a lot with my job.
Another way to stay motivated is reading bodybuilding / fitness mags like Muscular Development (a must!) and Flex.
Hope you are reaching your goals. I want to share my passion with a larger audience and fire up Iron Man's cover. Please vote for me as often as you like at http://www.bodybuilding.com/20 10-bodyspace-spokesmodel-searc h-women.html

You have a young look for age just like I do. I'm 21 but I probably look like I'm 16. People say I'll appreciate it more when I'm older. So is that true? haha
