Background

When I Started: Apr 2008
HOW I STARTED:

I have always been active with sports and lifting. In 2008 I got a tight grip on my diet and routine.

WHY I LOVE IT:

I love the adrenaline rush after a good sweat and the way I feel when I know I'm doing my absolute best. Oh, and not having a muffin top ;)

Time to Build

So it's been about a week since my first show and overall I feel really good about my placing and where I'm at now (mentally). I was the youngest competitor there and I'm confident in my abilities to make phenomenal gains this off-season. The ladies at the NPC Hartford Europa, for the most part, were inspiring and motivating. They had been training and competing for years and their muscle maturity is definitely something I aspire to have. Overall, it was an incredible experience, I took a lot away and I'm excited to bring a new and improved me to the stage in 2011. My goals for the off-season:...

I can safely say that with the checklist of daily "need-to's" that pile up.. blogging just isn't one of them. BUT, I would actually like to try and make a conscious effort now. I have a lot of thoughts circulating and I'm sure some clarity would come from putting them in front of me.
