i want to become as strong as i can and still mantain my flexibility and stamina
Goal (Long):
i play rugby for a league team and for the bahamas national side, and i want to add as much strength to my body as possible and still be able to maintain my flexibility and stamina. rugby is very brutal and a little padding, (in rugby you aren't allowed to wear more than 10mm of padding), eg muscle won't hurt; it will also help me in all other areas of the game.
Why I like this video: do i really need to explain......hes a monster, he lifts heavy and controlled now thats real power, none of these jerky movements that i see so many people do nowadays, he is just DIESEL.
Time? How much time should we spend in the gym? 30mins? 1hour? 2 hours? I personally have a problem with people spending hours in the gym. It is my opinion that you shouldn't stay more than a hour. Now let me clarify that statement, I think that if you are doing an hour of...
heavy weights, compound movements, free weights, and making sure i hit the muscle from every angle. i usually start off with heavy compound movements and finish off with isolation exercises with pauses at the peak contraction point.
