How I Started:
I started lifting when I was 18 but did it very infrequently and really didn't know what I was doing at all. I just wanted to get bigger. At the time I was 6'0" and about 130 lbs and just wanted to gain mass.

How I Stay Motivated:
Thats a good question. It's tough and I struggle with it.
BB Accomplishments:
Nothing too much. I went from 130 lbs at 19 years old with very little mass to 200 lbs at 30 years old. I'm 6'1" and it's hard for me to keep muscle on. 315 lb. Bench press (Decline) and 17.5" arms are two goals I have accomplished.
Sounds like you had some fun then, huh! Glad you're on the road to recovery and are able to get back in the gym. I know what thats like. I found out last week that i blew out my groin on one side, so no lower body for me until the Dr. releases me. Nothing i can't overcome tho. Have an awesome week!
Thanks for checking up on me. I can seriously say i am hating every minute of this contest prep. I will NEVER do this again. It takes a special person and I just love cheat meals too much to give them up for this amount of time. How have you been? I will be in Spain for a week so hopefully I will have a tan soon! ;-)
Thank you! I do an hour of strength a day, 5 times per week. I also walk 4 days a week, 90 minutes (my walks are 6 miles long). And then twice a week I do HIIT with sprinting for about 25 minutes.
no, it is actually easy to go heavy on the hack machine...I never do standing squats with the olympic bar because it loads and compresses the vertebra too much...you could do it!
thats cool. I agree - Bispings ok, but I do think hes being given any easy ride to a title shot. He is nothing special, but good for increasing Uk and European exposure for UFC. Cant see him winning and holding a title with the quality hes up against. Good luck to him though!
