Bremen High School Attended 1999 to 2003 Midlothian, Illinois United States
When I Started:
Aug, 2005
How I Started:
I've always been athletic - growing up I was a "tom-boy" and was always playing sports. It wasn't until my sophomore year of college when I discovered true weight training and I've been hooked ever since.
Why I Love It:
The rush I get when I lift more than the guys!
But other than that, I love the adrenaline rush after a long, hard workout. I feel satisfied knowing that I am making myself better, both inside and out.
How I Stay Motivated:
Success only comes after failure, both in and out of the gym. Difficult times are merely opportunities to become greater.
The outward transformation of the body is a reflection of the inward transformation of the spirit.
Women are often stereotyped as fragile princesses who stick to the cardio machines in the gym. As a woman, I'm often thrown into that category. I want to gain the respect of both men and women when I enter the gym and go straight to the freeweights.
And I want to do it for all the women who believe that buff is beautiful. Go big or go home!
Weight Goal:
I want to LOSE 10 lb
Bodyfat Goal:
12%

Do you tell your friends and/or family about your fitness goals?
No
Why or why not?
I won't normally tell my family and friends unless they share the same passion for fitness as I do. I have been mocked when I share my goals with some people, simply because they think that I don't "need" to workout. I think some feel as though I'm "rubbing in" in the fact that I have a decent body. I won't normally tell my family and friends unless they share the same passion for fitness as I do. Do you have a significant other?
Yes
How has bodybuilding and fitness helped or hurt your relationship?
My husband and I met in the gym, so health and fitness is a cornerstone of our relationship. It's something we bond over and it's brought us closer together. Working out is a fun (and cheap!) date that we both enjoy. My husband and I met in the gym, so health and fitness is a cornerstone of our relationship. After a long hard look at our massive amounts of debt, the man and I decided to overhaul our finances and start Dave Ramsey's Total Money Makeover. Everything has been going great, except when it comes to our monthly grocery budget. We're trying to be as frugal (read: cheap) as possible,...
I will when I get them... Still haven't gotten them from photographer... =) yes, we work out together! It is AWESOME having your spouse as your workout partner!

It was last week, the 19th of June...We haven't gone on our honeymoon yet, we have 4 week old puppies that we need to sell 1st...But then I think we are going to go to Mexico for a week and hang out on the beach, so I need to keep cutting! =) How are things with you?

About a week ago we started our cut together... It will be a slow cut... But I definitely think both my fiance and I gained muscle on our bulk... We are getting married June 13th, so we both would like to look cut up =) What have you been working on?
