When I Started:
Dec, 2006
How I Started:
I had lifted on and off several times but with no consistency. After a friends birthday, I saw some pictures of myself and became disgusted. I was 237 lbs and about 30% bodyfat. I decided that was enough and I wanted to change my lifestyle and appearance. Ive been consistant and motivated ever since.
Why I Love It:
I love the challenge of lifting. I like to fell the burn and be sore the next day.
Trying to cut the fat off still, Not having the best of luck, Struggling with how much cardio to do to keep my strength up for lifting. Feeling weak!!!
Thanks man, I built my arms with exercises such as EZ-Barcurls-one arm dumbell curls- If you have big arms u have big Triceps ... so for them.
Close grip Bench- pushdowns-overhead extensions.
Dont do any dropsets ! use heavy weight with low volume
Hope the email helps Craigg...keep asking questions, I like to help and it keeps me in check...if I am giving you advice...I better be doing it myself...good motivation for me to stay in line...lol. Chat later J.
Eat alot!!! LOL. Rephrase: Eat alot of clean food! I workout with weights 5 days a week and do light cardio 3-4 times a week. With my metabolism I can't afford to do to much cardio...as i continue to age i will have to adjust accordingly. Email or PM me...I would love to answer all your questions...Talk soon...J.
Tell her I said thank you. I hope both of you are enjoying the weekend! We are taking the kids to SEA WORLD tomorrow...so everyone is crazy excited...except for me and hubby who have to bear the 100 degree heat! Oh well...the memories:-))))
