I really got serious with weigh lifting when I was a freshman in college. That's when I started working out about 3 days a week and cross training for 3 day a week. I wanted to be a complete athlete.
Why I Love It:
I like the way I feel after I completed a workout. I feel accomplished.
How I Stay Motivated:
When I stand totally naked in my full body length mirror, all the truth comes out. I want the true to be what I want to see. The mirror is unforgiving. It won't lie to you. The mirror only knows the truth.
BB Accomplishments:
The first time I bench pressed 300 pounds.
The first time I leg pressed 1500 pounds.
The first time I completed a 10 mile run.

What should look for in a gym? What should you avoid?
what should look for in a gym?
I look for a gym that have plenty of free weights, dumbbells, hammer stenght machines and cable machines. I go to the gym to put in work.
What should you avoid?
I avoid gyms that have miles of cardio equipment and minimum space for free weights and actual workout equipment. Those gyms are social clubs to me. I can run on a track or the street.what should look for in a gym?

Why? What are the pros and cons of working out there?
Pos are as follows: The gym has all the weights and weight machines that I need to transform my body. I dont have all that equipment in my apartment.
Cons are as follows: I have to go to the gym to have access to all this equipment. Pos are as follows: The gym has all the weights and weight machines that I need to transform my body. I dont have all that equipment in my apartment.

What is the most dangerous weightlifting exercise? Why?
Squats. YOu have to be very sound in your body position and technique. Easy way to hurt your back and kness if technique is off and or trying to do more weight than you can handle.
Why do I put my body through all the pain? It’s not for the glory of winning a competition. One of these days, I will compete in a NPC event. It’s not to impress my friends at my twentieth high school reunion. It’s not even to get the looks and complements from the ladies.
There...
Hey my friend, it's going good. Nutritionist gave me a couple weeks off, but I'm not going to go crazy; just taking a little break. I hope you have a great holiday. That new Avi is TIGHT!!!
Hey T! I had a fantastic week..last week also. Ready to have another fabulous week. Hope you have a wonderful Thanksgiving week. Happy Holidays! Jazzy:)
Hey Terry! Thanks for the well wishes before my competition. It went well. I didn't finish in the top 3 which what was needed to qualify for sponsorships but I'm still really happy that I met my goal of doing 3 shows this year. I'm actually going to do one more next week :) I love competing and next year my goal is to come back bigger and stronger. Can't wait to start my new training in January.
Hi Terry.. my weekend has been relaxing. Running and other cardio.. and eating clean. Have a blessed Sunday and a peaceful and productive week. Jazzy:)
