I was on the right track to achieving my goals, when a tragic event took place in my family. I lost all motivation to go to the gym and begun gaining fat faster than I ever have. I went up to 185lbs and lost most of the strength I worked so hard to obtain. Now two years after that my younger brother decided to serve our country and join the United States Marine Corps. Even though he is younger than me, I admire his determination. He has inspired me to create something of myself as well. I realized that I do not want to be the person that I am anymore and have decided to work even more than before to obtain my goals in not only fitness, but in all aspects of my life.
I feel better, more confident, and generally more comfortable engaging in physical activity. I love to look in the mirror and see all my hard work. When I do this, I also realize that I will look even better if I continue to push myself. I also love the rush one gets when pushing ones self to definite ends. I've never knew I could lift so much weight before I pushed myself past my fears and just tried it.
