I'm pretty much just now giving bodybuilding a real start. I've been low carbing since Jan 4th 2011 and lost about 40+ pounds total. It wasn't much because I wasn't working out at the time. I'm still happy for the progress but no longer satisfied to sit around and "wait" for things to happen. Yes, I went from 283 to 242 but it was in a sedentary mode. But NOW I'm going to make them happen.
I've always been fascinated with weight lifting and reading the magazines even when I didn't work out. Like most of us women, I thought the place to be was in cardio. But I absolutely HATE cardio--always have. lool... Even when reading about weight lifting I didn't know what to do for myself but now--I can't say that any longer. I'm taking what I'm learning (still learning) and putting it to action. I can't wait to see the vision I have for myself come to fruition. *grin*
