Growing up I was always active playing sports. I played basketball throughout high school but never went to the gym. College came, and I LOST those freshman 15, not gained. I was very skinny, tired all of the time, emotionally drained from personal life stressors, but thought everything was ok. I got married when I was 21, a messy divorce at 25, and then it hit me. I had to do something with my life that had meaning. I initially started p90x and became a Beachbody coach. It was great! Just what I needed at the time to get me into good spirits and begin the change of my life. I became a workout fanatic and haven't gone back since. My younger brother has been competing as a body building since 2007. I LOVED going to his shows!! I became a huge fan of the NPC/IFBB scene and decided I wanted to become a part of that myself one day. So, that's where I am right now. Hoping to compete in my first bikini show in 2015. Thankfully my boyfriend is a huge supporter as well as my family. I can't wait to see what kind of package I bring!
There are so many reasons why I love working out. It makes me feel so accomplished after every workout because I give 110%! You have to go hard all the way, or else there is no point in working out. I love seeing the way the body changes and improves with each week!
