When I was a child my mom took me to the gym and I remember sitting at the bench at the front watching everyone work out..... I always loved watching those people lift those weights! I had a few gym memberships after high school but never kept it consistent. After having 2 children and being depressed about what I saw in the mirror staring back at me, I decided to make a change. A change that would change my life forever. Since I had started working out, I have competed in 4 fitness competitions and even had another child. I'm maintaining a healthy lifestyle and setting an example for my children.
When I step into the gym and put my headphones on, I become a different person. I am focused on making myself better. I love the challenge that I put myself through. I workout alone and I push myself in every single workout. What's so cool about working out is that even if you have a rough patch and miss some days, the gym is always there. The gym never leaves you. There are also so many elements of fitness. Lifting, plyometrics, running, walking... just get in the gym and get after it. Use anything you can to motivate yourself.
