I started working out my freshman year of college. I went down to the college gym and signed up for a personal trainer. Ever since I have been working out Monday through Friday. I went from not being able to walk up stairs and be out of breathe to doing a 500 meter sprint on an Erg Machine in 1:30. All with the help of my personal trainer.
I got started in working out because I was sick and tired of being overweight. My entire life I was the, "fat kid" growing up. I had to stop playing sports because of my weight and for years did not want to even go outside because I did not want people to judge me. My first year of college I decided to change and a year later I am down from 320 pounds to 239. I love working out because it has given me the opportunity to feel comfortable in my own skin and to achieve my goals of joining the military after I graduate.
