All my life I have been heavily into sports. Football was always my favorite. Naturally you have to be stronger than the man across from you.
When I was a Freshman in high school, at age 15, I started watching the older football players lift with the athletic trainer who also happened to be a CPT. Strength and weight lifting was a very important factor to the coaches. The older Junior and Senior students were always working harder and harder to break the school's old weight lifting records. The excitement around "CAN HE DO IT... CAN HE PUSH IT UP?! WILL HE GET HIS NAME ON THE WALL, SEALED IN ETERNAL GREATNESS??" was always so exciting to me.
I decided I wanted to be the one breaking records so I began training harder than anyone and everyone.
It makes me feel great, inside and out both mentally and physically.
I also love the dedication, commitment and reward that comes with physical training.
