I Was a lightweight wrestler all through HS(112lb class) and College(125lb class). After cutting weight and being incredibly skinny throughout my wrestling career I turned my competitive nature towards trying to build a little muscle and more well rounded physique. I'm now head HS wrestling coach and I try to stay strong and in shape to set a good example for my wrestlers. I train and lift with them and plan to continue to do so as long as I'm physically able.
I'm extremely competitive by nature and competed in collegiate wrestling at the Division I level. I look at bodybuilding, lifting and working out as a competition against myself. Each week I'm trying to hit a new PR on a lift, or push the intensity to a new level with some drop sets, or run a few miles quicker than before etc. Basically I'm always looking to improve my strength, endurance, build, and overall wellness.
